Our Story

ThinkMode+ was born out of a simple, daily frustration. As AI power users, we found ourselves doing the same thing every single time we opened a new chat: clicking "think harder," toggling extended thinking, flipping reasoning mode on — over and over, across every platform, every session.

It seemed absurd. The models are capable of deep, careful reasoning — but they default to their fastest guess instead of their best thinking. Every conversation starts at the shallowest level unless you manually ask for more. We kept asking ourselves: why isn't the best thinking just… on?

So we built ThinkMode+. A lightweight browser extension that silently enables extended thinking mode the moment you open ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. No clicking, no toggling, no remembering. Just better answers from the very first message.

Our Mission

We believe every AI conversation deserves the model's best reasoning effort — not its fastest guess. Extended thinking modes exist because they produce dramatically better outputs: fewer hallucinations, stronger logic, more nuanced analysis. But they're buried behind toggles and menus that most users never touch.

Our mission is to make AI reasoning the default, not the exception. ThinkMode+ ensures that every chat, every prompt, and every session starts with the model's full cognitive capabilities engaged. It's a small change with an outsized impact on the quality of every interaction you have with AI.

How It Works

ThinkMode+ operates entirely in your browser. When you navigate to a supported AI platform, the extension automatically detects the interface and enables extended thinking / reasoning mode in the background — before you even type your first message. It's silent, seamless, and requires zero manual interaction after setup.

Automatically enables reasoning mode on chatgpt.com. Works with GPT‑4o, o1, o3, and all models that support extended thinking.

Claude

Enables extended thinking on claude.ai. Supports Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Claude 4 Opus, and all models with thinking capabilities.

Gemini

Activates deep-think mode on gemini.google.com. Compatible with Gemini 2.5 Pro, Ultra, and future reasoning-capable models.

ThinkMode+ is available as a browser extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, installable from the Chrome Web Store.
