TimeSkip ("we," "us," or "our") operates the TimeSkip browser extension for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, as well as the website thinkmodeplus.com/timeskip (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By installing the extension or using our website you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension and discontinue use of the website.
When you create an account, you may provide us with an email address and password. Payment information is processed entirely by Dodo Payments — we never see or store your full credit card number.
TimeSkip stores your extension preferences (such as usage counters and subscription status) using the Chrome Storage API. When you sign in, TimeSkip stores your authentication session (including an access token and refresh token) in Chrome's local storage to keep you signed in across browser sessions. These tokens are not transmitted to any party other than Supabase for authentication purposes. This data is tied to your browser profile.
When you visit an X (Twitter) profile page, TimeSkip reads two pieces of publicly visible information from the page DOM: the username and join date. This information is used solely to construct search URLs and is never transmitted to any server.
TimeSkip requests the following browser permissions: storage (to save your settings and usage data locally), activeTab and tabs (to read the URL of your currently active tab to detect whether you are on an X/Twitter profile page, and to navigate that tab when you use the Jump feature), and access to x.com, twitter.com, and our Supabase backend at bwgqtvtpnqyygdmqopku.supabase.co. No other sites or data are accessed.

TimeSkip is distributed through the Chrome Web Store, which is operated by Google. Google's Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of data by the Chrome Web Store.
We use Dodo Payments to process subscription payments. When you purchase a paid plan, your payment information is collected and processed directly by Dodo Payments. We receive only your email address and subscription status — never your card details. When your payment is processed, Dodo Payments sends a secure notification (webhook) to our servers containing your email address and the purchased product. We use this solely to update your subscription status in our database.
TimeSkip constructs search URLs using X's publicly available Advanced Search feature. All queries are executed in your browser as if you typed them into the X search bar yourself. We do not use any Twitter API, scraping tools, or hidden endpoints.
We use Supabase for user authentication and subscription management. Supabase stores your email address and hashed password. Your data is hosted on secure, SOC 2-compliant servers.
The TimeSkip website uses minimal cookies related to Supabase authentication sessions. The extension stores data locally in Chrome's storage API. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics scripts.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication via Supabase. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your account information (email and subscription status) for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.
TimeSkip is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
