Overview
Block OFF is being built as an AI comment moderation tool for YouTube and Instagram creators. To provide scanning, hiding, review, analytics, and restoration features, the product may need limited access to connected account data and comments that you authorize us to process.
We do not want to collect more data than the product needs. Our goal is to process only the information required to detect harmful comments, show moderation decisions, and help you manage your community.
Data we collect
Depending on the features you use, Block OFF may collect account information such as your name, email address, connected platform profile, profile ID, OAuth authorization status, and billing or launch offer status.
When you purchase the launch offer, payment checkout is handled by Dodo Payments. Block OFF may receive payment status, product, amount, email, and transaction reference information, but full card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Block OFF.
Block OFF may also process comment data such as comment text, author display name, platform comment ID, post or video ID, moderation score, rule triggers, action taken, timestamps, and whether a comment was hidden, allowed, restored, or marked for review.
How we use data
We use data to provide the service, including scanning comments, detecting spam, scams, harassment, hate, and toxic language, applying user-defined moderation rules, showing analytics, and maintaining an activity log.
We may also use contact information to send product updates, support replies, security notices, billing confirmations, and launch access details.
Retention and deletion
We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain product records. Creators should be able to request deletion of their account and associated moderation history.
Some records may remain in backups for a limited period before automatic deletion. We may also retain minimal transaction records when required for tax, fraud prevention, or accounting purposes.
Your rights
You may contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information associated with your Block OFF account. You can also disconnect social accounts when you no longer want Block OFF to scan or moderate comments.
